delivery, cancellation & returns
Delivery
Delivery charges will be calculated at checkout.
We aim to process and ship your order within 14 days of order confirmation except in the case of furniture (see below) or items which are requested to be altered (eg framing). We will advise you of the expected delivery timeframe if it falls outside of this for any reason.
Some furniture may be made to order - if so this will be made clear on the product page. Please allow 28 days for fabrication and shipping. Where the item is in stock we aim to ship within 14 days as with other items.
Prints are usually shipped in a tube via a courier such as Fed Ex or Royal Mail.
Framed artwork and canvases are usually delivered by our dedicated art courier. Small items may be sent via a courier such as Fed Ex or Royal Mail.
All orders will be packed safely for transit, fully insured and sent using a tracked and sign for service.
Currently the shipping costs calculated by the website cover delivery to UK mainland only and exclude the Scottish Highlands. For all other areas such as offshore islands and Scottish Highlands please contact us for a delivery quote - we are always willing to help. The Delivery timeframe may be slightly longer
Receiving your delivery
Our responsibility and risk for your purchased item extends only to the point at which your item is delivered. You must ensure you are available to receive the delivery. We will not assume responsibility for any damage or theft once the item has been delivered and you are advised to arrange for insurance at your end if required.
Cancelling an order
When buying Goods online, you have a right of cancellation.
If you wish to cancel an order please contact us immediately by email or phone and we will endeavour to halt the shipping process and refund you.
If the order has already been processed and shipped then please follow our usual returns process.
Returns
To initiate the returns process please notify us in writing that you wish to return an item within 14 days of purchase - to the email address below – and we will give you instructions. Arrangements will depend upon the nature of the item.
All goods must be returned at your own risk and cost in their original packaging and must be in their original and unused condition. You are strongly advised to fully insure the shipment and ensure it is tracked as MUUS will only assume responsibility for the item once it is back on our premises.
Your item(s) must be received within 14 days of notification or no refund will be given and we will assume the return has been cancelled and take no further action.
After we have received the goods, we will credit your account with the full purchase price of the goods returned, less/excluding the postage costs.
If you do not return the goods to us, you are still liable to us for the purchase costs
We are under no obligation to collect or recover goods from you.
Your right as a consumer to change your mind does not apply in respect of products personalised, bespoke or made as per your particular instructions.
Missing or damaged items
If for any reason your purchased item does not arrive within the timeframe expected please contact us and we will contact the courier for an update.
If for any reason your item arrives damaged you must contact us within 24 hrs in writing or by email (or use the contact form via the website) giving the order reference, your contact details and full details of the damage. Please supply photos where possible.
In the case of damaged items we will arrange collection with you at our cost and, once received, offer a full refund.
All goods must be returned in their original packaging and (apart from the stated damage) must be in an unused condition.
